LOOKING gooD

High heels... once upon a time, this was my favourite, being blessed with height & not so fat, i always love to add to being looking more attractive... but it was during those days.... when i was young... just followed the trend & always wanted to look beautiful & attractive. 

Nowadays, flat shoes are my preference.... which i find so much comfort.... easy to walk, run or whatever. Looking at those young girls with heels, i wonder how did i manage to be like them, when wearing flats are very much comfortable. 

That is fashion... no pain no gain.... we don't mind the pain as long as we look good, beautiful & attractive...

But when you reach certain age.... or let me put it this way... because i realised that some women, the older they get, they become more obsessed with fashion & looks... why i said this, from my observation.... before 40s, some of the ladies do not wear make-up, but suddenly after 40s they are wearing heavy make-up & i tell you ladies.... it does not look good at all.... its look weird.... its look like chinese opera.... i know they are trying to look younger, but help me God, with those make-up they look older.... 

Lets grow old naturally, wear something that suits our age... we can still look good & presentable.... no need heavy make-up to cover our wrinkles... Truth is, i don't wear heavy make-up since i was young.... i don't wear 3 inches foundation just to cover the scar on my face, i never wear concealer or whatever they call it.... my beauty routine when i was young, which i put on my face, just a face cream, compact powder, eye liner for my eye brow, sometimes eye shadow, blusher & lipstick. Nowadays i used vaseline lotion with uv protection, a compact powder & lipstick, and i am all ready to go to work or going out. And it is enough to boost my self-confidence,

Some of the girls i seen, look even more beautiful without make-up... i don't understand why they need to put such a heavy make-up, to look like what? Pontianak?

Anyway, i am not trying to condemn anyone, its everyone's choice.... maybe lack of self-confidence turn us to make-up.... but for ladies out there, muslim married ladies.... we can look presentable outside our home.... but remember our beauty is only for our husband. Put as much make-up as you like for your husband (but make sure, he don't run away), wear whatever you like for him.... this one we will get reward from Allah....
