DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT HKL
21/12/16
Left the house around 6.50 am... reached at the hospital around 7.30 am. Went straight to the clinic, lot of people already & my turn was 44... but it was really fast... i got my appointment, saw the doctor around 8.20 am.
A young, pretty & very polite lady doctor.... a lot of things was asked before she could diagnose the problems:-
1) What kind of illness do i have
2) Any medication taken
3) Any jamu taken
4) How often the chest pain
5) Any numbness on the knee
6) Family history - illness
7) Been hospitalized or not
8) How often the asthma attack
9) How often i used the inhaler per day
10) How often i have to get the gas a year
And after that i asked the doctor about the result of the blood test:-
1) Glucose level very good - 4.1
2) Cholesterol high - 7.2
And i also mentioned about the cause of the blood thickness... i forgot, what the doctor said. Anyway I was advised to stop taking the highblood medicine that i am taking currently... from now on the hospital will monitor my health. And i cannot run away this time from taking the medicine for the cholesterol... if i don't take with the family history the risk is high for stroke.
And i was given the medicine for cholesterol & also blood thinning. And every two weeks i have to pay a visit to the nearest government clinic for monitoring and i was given a lot of appointments. So next year calendar full of doctor's appointment.
And i have to record every possible changes in my health in a note book, which later will be endorsed by the doctor at the clinic...
All the best to myself.... hopefully nothing serious, insyaAllah.
* PS : I think the service at GHKL is excellence. The waiting period is reasonable, by 10 am all done... even i have to see the doctor few times. But the doctor was really nice & obliged, she even came out to the waiting room to see me just to explain what came across her mind, like what is the side effect of the medicine & what i should do if any complication occurs. Other staff also very polite & nice. Between 1 - 5, i give 4.
